EJCT 2025

September 4 @ 5:00 pm - September 7 @ 3:00 pm

CHF500

Dear athletes, dear coaches, dear curlers,

CC Baden-Regio is proud and honoured to announce the introduction of the first international junior tournament in Baden as part of the European Junior Curling Tour (EJCT).

This tournament represents a significant step forward not only for our club, but also for the entire junior curling sport. Our goal is to establish Baden as a permanent venue in the international tournament calendar of the EJCT and thus to establish another important location for junior sports alongside renowned cities such as Prague, Oslo, Copenhagen, Perth (SCO), Thun and Kitzbühl.

The decision to organise such a tournament in Baden is the result of our long-standing efforts to promote and strengthen curling in the region. The success of Switzerland’s largest elite men’s curling tournament, which has been held in Baden for 25 years, has shown the potential of this city. Now we want to use this potential to make a significant contribution in the field of junior sports as well.

The European Junior Curling Tour is well known for its outstanding role in the development of young talent and offers athletes a unique opportunity to prove themselves on the international stage. With our commitment to the tournament, we want to make Baden a place where young athletes can showcase their skills and compete against the best in their age group. This tournament is designed to offer the participating teams unforgettable sporting experiences.

Baden has (little) more then Curling

Baden is very well located with the International Airport in Zurich being close by and the Aparthotel next door providing excellent accommodation. In addition, the Bareggcenter offers the opportunity to use the fitness centre, paddle or tennis infrastructure or to book massage appointments. The city of Baden, which can be reached in a few minutes by bus, is known as a wellness and recreation location and offers good shopping opportunities in its attractive old town.

We look forward to welcoming numerous guests and competitive curling teams from Europe, Asia and overseas.

With best regards,

Michael Devaux, President of the Organising Committee
